Mark Sims
Amateur Photographer

Hi there - thanks for popping by and visiting my little website.
I'm an amateur photographer living in Ware, Hertfordshire and have a passion for getting outdoors with my camera to capture some of the beauty around us.  Given the chance, I love to travel abroad, meet people from different cultures and capture images from those magical places outside the UK.  But, closer to home, we have some stunning landscapes here, so I always try to find some time each year to visit parts of the UK with my camera.
Whilst landscape photography is my 'happy place', I enjoy most genres and occasionally dabble with sports, wildlife, portraiture and architectural shoots too.  Please take a peek at my galleries for a flavour of the things I get up to when I'm not working or being a servant to our cats!
I'm also the current President of Ware & District Photographic Society.  Having moved to Ware in 2012 (and with a passing interest in photography) I popped in on one of their meetings and was amazed by the standard of local amateur photographers, which really kick-started my enthusiasm to take things more seriously and improve my photography.
All the best
